If you are a teacher, before you show up for class you will have prepared yourself so you know the material. As a leader of an organization, department, or group you likely are thinking about the subject deeply before beginning to ask about it. You may have even rushed to a solution or conclusion before a question leaves your mouth. If you start down this path you will spoil an opportunity for others to engage and find their own vision of possibilities or conclusions. Your voice will detour their journey.
